santhan 		Hi, Article submission is not at all a bad idea. But for a web site, that's not enough to get increased traffic. so every site needs SEO. I do SEO for my site meanwhile i do article submission and back links for a better result powered by a service provider Thewebpole.com . I get a good results on the purpose.

AnnaS 		Article submission should be considered as one of many link-building technique. As long as your articles are quality ones that are relevant, written in good English and are sent manually and not automatically (something that can be considered as spam in the eyes of the search engines), than you'll see satisfactory results from it.

NotEinstein 		The article submission ship has sailed, as of the most recent Google algorithm updates.

This web page is a pretty good example of why article submission failed as a tactic. It began as a reasonable marketing practice -- create good content about your website/product/service, and submit it around the web to lots of different sites. But the burgeoning "article submission" industry ended up kind of like this webpage -- spammy marketing junk posted all over the place, without rhyme or reason.

I mean, really - who wants to read something like this on a trivia site like strange questions??? It's obvious that this person's only purpose for posting this question and answer was to advertise the article service.

If an "SEO strategy" doesn't add value for the reader, then it is doomed to fail eventually.

dedicated4u 		article submission is very different process. because first you want to know that how much page rank of your site then you can submit your article.
Page rank is more important
