Why don't self-massages feel good at all?

whenever my legs or neck or head is sore, i always try rubbing them, it relieves the pain, but it doesnt seem to relieve the tension, or send out pleasure signals like when someone else does it for me, why is that? there's got to be a scientific reason

Its becose that you feel both part and your brain knows it makes its self which is why masturbating isnt good sometimes
you will feel that good feelings when someone does which isnt you and your brain will make its feelings higher so to see what the other person does blah blah blah
