is nail polish bad for your nails?

I like to paint my nails often, like every 10-12 days. My mom says that my nails are going to "die" (like they are going to fall off from my finger). Is that possible?? Can my nails fall off from my finger or get too weak or something ??

Your nails will be fine. Every 10-12 days should not be a problem.

That said, the fumes in nail polish and remover are not great for people to be around for a long time, so avoid prolonged exposure. But at every 10-12 days, it shouldn't be a problem.
