Like you said about, a lot of this information depends on the size of the individual fruit. Bananas particularly have a wide range of sizes, so this can be hard. In an average, medium sized banana, however, there are approximately 39 grams of carbohydrates in the entire banana. In only the flesh of the fruit, however, which is probably what you are more interested in, there are 18 grams of carbs. An average banana's flesh also has 108 calories, 2 grams of starch, and 16 grams of sugars.
This isn't part of your question, but I have to include this: keep in mind that there is more to healthy eating and weight loss than carbohydrates! Your body needs carbs; they are a source of energy for your whole body, and cutting them out entirely, or to too drastic an extent, isn't healthy! The key to healthy weight and balanced eating is moderation, and a natural diet composed primarily of food you cooked yourself from real ingredients rather than over processed chemical substitutes. Most of the fat in my diet comes from premade foods, and cutting these out really helped me more than anything. Good luck!
