Mr. Boxy

Start at the top of the scalp and separate a piece of hair from the center. Separate this piece into three equal pieces. Let's number these pieces from left to right: 1 2 3

Cross the right over the middle: 2 1 3
Cross the left over the middle: 3 1 2

This is a basic braid.

Hold all of these strands in your left hand, and gather a new strand from the right side: 3 1 2 in your left hand, 4 in your right.

Put this new strand (4) together with the strand on the right (2.)

Move the right strand to the middle: 3 2 1

Now you're ready for the left side. Shift the strands to your right hand, and gather a new strand with your left: 0 in your left hand, 3 2 1 in your right.

Put the new strand (0) together with the left strand (3.) Move this left strand to the middle: 2 3 1.

Repeat this process until you've gathered all of the hair together from the scalp. Tie the rest of the hair together in a basic braid, and wrap a hair tie on the end.
