Many guys absolutely love to cuddle after sex. You’ve just been sleeping with the wrong guys. The bigger problem most women have about guys who don’t cuddle is the length of the cuddling. Many guys, after sex, soon fall asleep. It is important to understand, though, that it is not their fault. The bodies of men and women work differently before, during, and after sex.
Although there are some men who just jump up and are out of the scene immediately, it is more common for men to fall asleep soon after sex. This is because sex is an all-or-nothing activity for men. Once he ejaculates, most of the energy dissipates, and blood rushes out of the genital area and back to the rest of the body. Men become completely non-aroused. Women are different because after sex, they are still semi-aroused. Blood is still flowing through the genital area. Women are ready to talk, cuddle, or even have more sex. So, once a man is cuddling with you, don’t blame him for falling asleep. In many cases, he may want to remain awake with you, but sleeping should be taken as a compliment.
If you are pursuing a relationship or are already in a relationship, it is the guy that jumps out of bed to pursue other interests that you should be worried about. This guy is usually the one who is just looking for a casual encounter instead of any type of meaningful relationship. It is possible, of course, the guy is just extremely high energy, but, more often than not, he is only interested in you for sex and little else.
